I am a freelance Facebook marketer, offering training & managing Facebook ad campaigns for other business owners.
I’ve also wasted money on Facebook ads!
As a business owner I know how frustrating it can be to spend money on Facebook and Instagram ads and get little in return. In my previous businesses I wasted a lot of my hard earned cash on them and I’m not afraid to admit it.
But having invested a lot of time and money on in depth training, I now understand that those ads were set up to fail and I was never going to get the results I wanted.
So, who am I to talk about Facebook ads?
Before becoming a Facebook marketer I was a business owner, just like you. I’d been using social media to connect with my customers since 2011 and was wasting far too much money on boosting posts and creating Facebook ads that had no hope of working!
Running my own cake decorating school was great. It meant I could work around my son’s needs (he is disabled and needs 24/7 care). But, it also meant I had to constantly clean icing sugar off my kitchen cabinets! And eventually I realised that the part of my business I loved wasn’t the cake decorating (I loved the eating part obviously), it was actually the Facebook marketing.
I’d grown my Facebook business page from 0 to over 10,000 followers and filled every cake class I’d ever hosted. I’d used Instagram to promote my blog and connect with people around the world. And I’d raised a ton of cash for adaptions to our house and other charities using Facebook alone. I knew exactly how powerful this (mostly) free tool was for businesses.
So, I invested a lot of time and money into really understanding how to harness the power of social media and create Facebook ads that would bring a return on ad spend for my customers instead of only benefitting Zuckerberg!
My Goals
I am passionate about helping ensure that other small business owners don’t waste their money on ads that are destined to fail. I know the power of Facebook marketing and want to help business owners to harness that power so that they get great results and provide for their families.
I’ve taught at University of Brighton, spoken at digital events and hosted masterclasses for various coaches and memberships. I am looking forward to sharing my knowledge at more events.
